We help clients holistically restore balance- in terms of certain emotional, mental and to an extent, related physical challenges.
The scope of defined services provided by our network of specialists address some mental and emotional imbalances through holistic practices, applied in a variety of modalities. In turn, certain practices can also contribute toward improvement in elements of overall physical health.
After many years of successfully working with hundreds of clients through Equal Exes (and this continues today), Bridgette Jackson, together with Nick Scarlett, founded Equalibrium. We established this business in response to client demand and in some cases, obvious client need for specialist support (that remains beyond the scope of our services available through Equal Exes.)
Experiencing separation or divorce (and/or other types of life transitions) can often be associated with feelings of increased pressure and heightened emotions. During such times, it is not uncommon to experience one or more of the following:
Stress
Anxiety
Low Self-Esteem
Anger
Depression
Poor Discipline
In diet, exercise
Low Resilience
To daily challenges
Trouble Sleeping
Overtiredness
Decision Making
Difficulty thinking
Addictions
Shopping, work etc
The trust, respect and rapport established with clients of Equal Exes led to ever-increasing requests of us to recommend (when we were able), different specialist practitioners. This led to us informally collaborating with some practitioners. The positive impacts reported by clients working with these practitioners in parallel to working with their Equal Exes coach has been remarkably encouraging.
We now have a proven track record of achieving exceptionally positive outcomes. Not just at an individual level, but also for couples and importantly, also for children of a parent/parents splitting up. Building on these success stories, we chose to extend the services provided via our informal practitioner hub to anyone – not just those working with us via Equal Exes. In parallel, we decided to build upon this and to formalize the offerings via a specific entity. And so, Equalibrium was’ born.’
Bridgette Jackson & Nick Scarlett
Established in 2019, Equal Exes exists to create brighter futures for families through providing guidance and resources to those navigating the often complex and turbulent process of splitting up. We do this through individual coaching; couples coaching and through groups, via our workplace programmes. Clients separate with dignity or they stay – with sincerity.
Equalibrium was launched in 2023 and is already a haven for restoring balance in some aspects of health to our clients, through the application of holistic practices. We are humbled that it has meaningfully contributed to the creation of fulfilling family lives.
To meet other frequent and core client demands, the scope of services available through our business also includes: career counselling and executive search, selection & appointment services; and via our expert adviser network, clients can access wealth management professionals, real estate professionals, financial & insurance advice professionals and elite matchmaking service providers.
Bridgette Jackson is the Founder of Equal Exes and together with Nick Scarlett, is a co-founder of Equalibrium and other entities that comprise Equal Group Holding Ltd. that they established together. She is an experienced entrepreneur, with many years in the public eye within the women’s health space.
Prior to setting up Equal Exes, Bridgette worked as the Head of Relationships at Oi (Organic Initiative), a fast-growing social enterprise committed to removing plastic and synthetics from personal hygiene products. She has also had senior roles for New Zealand Gynaecological Cancer Foundation (NZGCF) in General Management and as Trustee and Acting-Chair.
“I have experienced a complex, expensive and prolonged divorce. As a mother of four children, I too have had to often ‘dig deep.’ During the divorce process, my eldest daughter had to have a heart transplant. At age 13. NZGCF holds a special place in my own heart as my mother died from ovarian cancer in September 2009. I am a total believer in and am absolutely committed to Equalibrium. (And Equal Exes and the other associated businesses!).”
My personal separation experience and the associated health issues I suffered are core driving forces behind my ‘why’. The insights and learnings from that form elements of the ‘how’ I am able contribute across the businesses that comprise Equal Group Holdings Ltd.
Also supporting the ‘how’ are experiences taken from my life & career journey to-date. I lived/worked in Asia for 15 years before coming to New Zealand in 2005. During that time, I held Chief Executive/other Senior Executive/Partner roles for a variety of companies, (spanning different industry sectors in a variety of countries).
In parallel, I served on the Financial Services Council of New Zealand (formerly the ‘Investment Savings & Insurance Association’); the Board of ‘Advicefirst Ltd.’; the Advisory Board of ‘The Quality Advice Network’ and; the Committee for Collective Investment Schemes to the Hong Kong Securities & Futures Commission
“I grew up with a father who was a diabetic- diagnosed at age 15 years old. Two shots of insulin per day and in those days, via manual injections. He dropped dead at age 62. Hardened arteries. Inevitable perhaps but no less traumatic for the family he left behind. I am a total believer in and am absolutely committed to Equalibrium. (And Equal Exes and the other associated businesses!).”
Access coaching, counselling, and advice through Equalibrium network. We can help you achieve better balance in aspects of well-being, be they mental, emotional and related physical states. Our practitioner members often provide self-help tools, tips and exercises to help you make better decisions.
